On the 30th, DG Entertainment announced, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with Funa after appreciating her unique appeal and potential shown through the show "Survival."
“We judge that Funa's sincere practice and steady development are very consistent with the direction our company is pursuing,” he added, adding: “We will not regret any support so that Funa can show her limitless talent at DG Entertainment."
Funa, from Japan, appeared on 'R U Next?' aired last year. In this show, Funa left a mark in the hearts of K-pop fans as a 'mature character'.
DG Entertainment is the management company of Yoon Ji-sung, former member of the group Wanna One.
