Gong Yoo's agency Management Soop reported to <The Fact> on the 7th: "Gong Yoo's father passed away on the 5th." It is known that Gong Yoo is currently worried about the funeral in grief.
The funeral was held at the funeral home of Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The funeral will be held at 5:20 a.m. on the 8th and burial will be at Xi'an Family Memorial Park.
Gong Yoo began his career as a clothing brand model in 1999, and he made his official debut as an actor through the KBS2 drama School 4 in 2001. Since then, he loved for appearing in many different works such as the dramas 'The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince', 'Big', 'Goblin' and the movies 'Finding Kim Jong Wook', 'The Crucible', 'Train to Busan', 'Emissary' and 'Kim Ji Young born in 1982'.
He is expected to appear in the Netflix series 'Squid Game Season 2' and 'Trunk' this year.
