The organizing committee for the "2019 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS"
released a video of Red Velvet and MONSTA X's acceptance speech on the TMA's
official website on March 23. The two teams won the Artist of the Year award
side by side at the awards ceremony, which was replaced online in the aftermath
of Corona 19.
Red Velvet was active with 'The ReVe Festival' last year. She showed a
wide range of music spectrum through "Day 1, "DAY2" and
"Finale," released in June, August and December, respectively, and
her last album title track "Psycho" is still at the top of the music
charts with much love.
Red Velvet said, "2019 was really like a festival. I was happy to
show you our various music through 'The Live Festival' and to meet many fans."

Red Velvet's Irene said Red Velvet won the Artist of the Year award at the
"The Fact Music Awards," and the members celebrated themselves with
applause. Seulgi added, "The year 2019 was really like a festival. Through
'The Live Festival', we were able to show you our various music and meet our
fans. Joy said, "Thank you so much for the great award and we will show
our fans a great side and bring them happiness in 2020.
MONSTA X has been busier than ever in 2019. It not only received much love
for its second full-length album "ARE YOU THERE?" in Korea, but also
showed remarkable growth in Japan and the U.S. As a result, the U.S. local
album "ALL ABOUT LUV" recently ranked fifth in Billboard200.
Monsta X said, "MONBEBE, I love you so much and thank you. To be
proud, we will do our best for good music and stage in 2020 as well," he
said.

MONSTA X Shownu will win the Artist of the Year award for the second
consecutive year following last year at the "The Fact Music Awards."
I'm so honored," he said, clapping and cheering together.
Minhyuk then said, "I think it was possible because we had MONBEBE
who always supported and protected MONSTA X." I.M. said, "MONBEBE, I
love you so much and thank you. To be proud, we will do our best for good music
and stage in 2020 as well," he said.
Kihyun said, "I feel heavy-hearted because I know that many people
are going through a difficult situation with Corona 19. MONSTA X will always
cheer and work hard," Hyungwon said, adding, "It's a difficult time,
but I think it will be of great help if you keep the precautions well. I hope
we can all join forces to overcome this crisis quickly," he said.
Videos of artists' acceptance speeches will be uploaded sequentially on
the official website.
The "The Fact Music Awards," which had been temporarily postponed
in the aftermath of Corona 19, will replace it with online awards and meet fans
with new looks in the second half. The results of the 2019 award ceremony,
which will be replaced online, will be released on the official website at 10
a.m. on Wednesday.

The review of the "2019 The Fact Music Awards" was based on the
tally from January to December 2019, and the judges included Park Soon-kyu,
editor-in-chief of The Fact, producer Park Geun-tae, producer Cho Young-soo and
lyricist Kim Eana.
The four categories - Grand Prize, Listener, Choice, Artist of the Year
and Next Leader - were decided by adding 40 percent of the music and album
scores and 60 percent of the judges' scores.
The special award is based on 100 percent of the judges' score, 100
percent of the votes for the Popularity Award and the Fan and Star Choice
Award, and the most votes for the fans and stars (the singer and the
individual) from May 2019 to February 2020, and the most votes for the songs
and albums were based on Gaon Chart data.
The "2019 The Fact Music Awards" were scheduled to take place at
the Gocheok Sky Dome in Gocheok, Seoul, on Feb. 29, but a temporary
postponement was decided for the prevention of the spread of Corona 19 and the
safety and health of the audience and artists. The organizing committee plans
to hold a new award ceremony in the second half of this year based on the score
tally from January 2020.
