The organizing committee of the "2019 (THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS" released Super Junior's acceptance speech on its official TMA website on April 3rd, which won four awards at the awards ceremony that was replaced online in the aftermath of Corona 19.
Super Junior released its ninth full-length album "Time_Slip" in October 2019 and released a special version of "TIMELINE" in November. It was an album that once again showed the spirit of challenge that doesn't settle down and the internal experience of creating something new like Super Junior, and confirmed its reputation as the "Hallyu King" for 16 years.
Lee Teuk said, "We had a double slope. It won as many as four gold medals at the "The Fact Music Awards," he said. All the members cheered together. The members then took turns introducing the award.
Eunhyuk said, "This year marks the 15th anniversary of our debut. I would like to express my infinite gratitude to the E.L.F. for loving us constantly for a long time. Kyu-hyun said, "In fact, we were a little concerned about the award, but I'm touched to receive an award made by our fans."
Super Junior has given extra meaning to Fan & Star Choice and the most votes choose only by fans. The members said, "We heard that the awards were carried out with 100 percent of the fans' votes. It was an achievement that could be achieved thanks to the votes cast by elves around the world," he said, expressing his gratitude to fans.
Eunhyuk also said, "This year marks the 15th anniversary. I would like to express my infinite gratitude to E.L.F. for their continued love for a long time," Kyu-hyun said, "I was actually letting go of my heart a little bit, but I'm moved to receive an award made by my fans."
Lastly, Leeteuk said, "I wish I could have breathed with my fans with a great performance through the ceremony, but I'm sorry to say hello to you through a video. I will run harder this year and produce good results," he promised.
Previously, a video clip of Red Velvet, Monsta X, TWICE, Kang Daniel, N.Flying, IZ, Chung Ha, Yang Joon-il, ITZY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, (G)I-DLE, Stray Kids, and Super Junior were released. Other artists' videos will also be uploaded sequentially through the official website.
The review of the "2019 The Fact Music Awards" was based on the tally from January to December 2019, and the judges included Park Soon-kyu, editor-in-chief of The Fact, producer Park Geun-tae, producer Cho Young-soo and lyricist Kim Eana.
The four categories - Grand Prize, Listener, Choice, Artist of the Year and Next Leader - were decided by adding 40 percent of the music and album scores and 60 percent of the judges' scores.
The special award is based on 100 percent of the judges' score, 100 percent of the votes for the Popularity Award and the Fan and Star Choice Award, and the most votes for the fans and stars (the singer and the individual) from May 2019 to February 2020, and the most votes for the songs and albums were based on Gaon Chart data.
The "2019 The Fact Music Awards" were scheduled to take place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Gocheok, Seoul, on Feb. 29, but a temporary postponement was decided for the prevention of the spread of Corona 19 and the safety and health of the audience and artists. The organizing committee plans to hold a new award ceremony in the second half of this year based on the score tally from January 2020.
