On the 14th, the National Tax Administration released the 2023 list of delinquent and regular taxpayers, dishonest donation receiving organizations, and tax evaders. This list includes personal information of 7,966 major and frequent lawbreakers, 41 organizations that received dishonest donations and 31 tax evaders.
Among them, Park Yoo-chun was listed as evading five taxes, including capital gains tax, amounting to 409 million won since 2016. His payment was due in November 2019.
Since 2015, Park Jun-gyu has overdue debts totaling 334 million won in 6 cases, including comprehensive income tax, and the payment deadline is February 2017.
In addition, writer Choi Wan-gyu, who wrote the dramas 'Iris' and 'Prison Flower', is also on the tax evasion list. He was sentenced to 1 year and 2 months in prison for evading 1.16 billion won in taxes by falsely declaring unpaid labor costs to a screenwriter's assistant.
This year, the number of people who must disclose increased by 1,026 people compared to last year and the amount of arrears increased by 711.7 billion won. There are 5,941 people committing crimes with arrears amounting to 200 million to 500 million won, accounting for 74.5% of the total number of people who must be disclosed. There are 25 overdue debtors with debt amounting to more than 10 billion won.
41 organizations that received dishonest donations issued fake donation receipts or had taxes collected due to violations of inheritance tax and gift tax laws were also exposed. Religious organizations such as temples and churches account for the largest proportion with 29.
