[The Fact | Reporter Gong Mina] Singer Chungha continued to share her warmth with low-income patients this year.
ChildFund Korea, a child welfare agency, announced on the 3rd that “Chungha donated 50 million won to support medical expenses for low-income patients.” Chungha, a member of ChildFund Korea's Green Noble Club for Children major donor group, has been donating to children, starting with supporting treatment costs for sick children in 2019.
This donation will be used through ChildFund Korea to cover surgery and rehabilitation costs for children from low-income families who are struggling with high treatment costs, such as surgery. Facial revision surgery for congenital cleft lip and palate and bone lengthening surgery for knee cancer.
In February last year, on the occasion of her 27th birthday, Chungha supported children from low-income families who needed expensive medical expenses such as ear reconstruction surgery, rare diseases and extreme skin disease under the name of her fanclub Byulharang.
Regarding this donation, Chungha said: "I hope it will give strength to patients and their families, who are physically and mentally exhausted after many treatments," and she added: "I pray that the children will soon recover well physically and mentally and grow healthier."
