[The FactㅣReporter Kang Il-hong] Singer Lim Young-woong won the Most Popular Male Artist award at the 38th Golden Disk Awards.

The award ceremony was held at Jakarta International Stadium in Indonesia on the afternoon of the 6th (KST).

On the 6th of last month, NHN Bugs announced that they would start voting for the 'Bugs Most Popular Award', the most popular award category of the Golden Disk Awards. Voting for 'Bugs Most Popular Award' was held from 12 noon on December 6 to 6 pm (KST) on the 27th, and Lim Young-woong won first place in the voting.

Voting for the 'Bugs Most Popular Award' at this Golden Disc Awards entitles each person to a maximum of 15 votes per day in each male and female category via the official Bugs app or website.

A total of 42 teams were nominated for the 'Bugs Most Popular Award'. Men's category includes 29 teams including Rise, Boy Next Door, Seventeen, EXO, NCT, Lim Young-woong, Jungkook, Zero Base One, Jimin and Taeyang Women's category includes New Genes, Le Seraphim, 13 teams including Ive , Aespa, ITZY and Twice were named.

While Lim Young-woong was unable to attend due to concert schedules, the awards ceremony was broadcast live on JTBC2 and JTBC4 and delayed on JTBC.

Meanwhile, the grand prize winners at the '38th Golden Disc Awards' were the groups Seventeen (album category) and New Genes (recording category). Singer Sung Si-kyung and Astro member and actor Cha Eun-woo hosted the awards ceremony.
