On the 6th, Blade Entertainment announced: "We have signed an exclusive contract with actor Heo Sung Tae, who has shown bold acting when switching between villain and good roles. We will continue continue to actively support him so that he can interact closely with the public through many diverse activities in the future."
Blade Entertainment members include Kang Shin Il, Go Chang Seok, Kwon So Hyun, Kim Jae Hwa, Nam Woo Hyun, Park Ji Ah, Eom Hyo Seop, Lee Gyu Han, Lee Yu Jun, Lee Joo Yeon, Lee Jun Young, Wang Ji Won, Jo Hee Bong, Jin Ye, Choi Moo Sung, Han Sang Jin and Han Chae Young.
Heo Sung Tae debuted to the public through SBS's 'Miracle Audition' in 2011. He has played characters with his own unique colors in various works such as the films 'Crime City', 'Special Secret Service', Disney+ original series 'Casino' and Coupang play 'Miki', delivered strong performances and left an impression.
In particular, Heo Sung Tae received worldwide attention for his role as villain Jang Deok Su in the Netflix original series 'Squid Game'. Additionally, he attempted a successful transition into acting by trying out his first leading role since his debut in the movie 'Boys', which was released last November.
