[The FactㅣReporter Kim Saet-byeol] Stray Kids' Hyunjin shared his warm heart for the deaf.
On the 4th, JYP Entertainment announced, "Hyunjin recently donated 100 million won to The Snail of Love to celebrate his birthday on March 20." With this donation, Hyunjin was appointed ' The Snail of Love Soul Leader'.
The Snail of Love is a social welfare organization that provides artificial cochlear surgery and hearing aids to the hearing impaired to help them regain sound, support hearing children's social adaptability, and provide education to raise community awareness. Hyunjin's donation will also be used for projects for the deaf, such as cochlear implant replacement and language rehabilitation treatment.
Hyunjin said through his management company: "As an artist who shares joy through music, I joined because I wanted to help in a small way in finding sound. Even if it's just a small sharing, but I want to share the precious love I receive from fans together."
This is not Hyunjin's first donation. Last year, he donated 100 million won to emergency relief projects for vulnerable groups of natural disasters in Turkye and Syria through the international relief organization 'The Promise'.
