'Magnetic' becomes the first K-POP debut song to enter 'Hot 100'

According to the latest chart (as of April 20) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 16th (local time), ILLIT (Yoona, Minjoo, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha)'s first mini album 'SUPER REAL ME' The title song 'Magnetic' entered the main song chart 'Hot 100' at No.91.

This is the first time that a K-POP artist's debut song has appeared on the chart. As a result, ILLIT was listed on the 'Hot 100' 21 days after the song was released, achieving a significant achievement of becoming the K-POP artist to enter the 'Hot 100' in the fastest time since debut.

ILLIT expressed their thoughts through the agency, Belift Lab, saying, "I could never have imagined this. I think this is a result achieved thanks to the interest of many people. It is truly an honor." The members then added, "Thank you to everyone who made good songs and loved ILLIT and 'Magnetic'. We will work hard to grow into a better artist in the future."

'Magnetic' ranked 6th and 3rd on Billboard's 'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' respectively, charting for three consecutive weeks. In addition, 'SUPER REAL ME' ranked 6th on World Albums and Heatseekers, staying in the 'Top 10', and ranked 45th on the Independent Album Chart. ILLIT ranked 15th among emerging artists.

ILLIT, who debuted with 'SUPER REAL ME' on the 25th of last month, sold more than 380,000 copies in the first week of release, and 'Magnetic' was included in 'Daily Top Song Global' on the day of debut on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, and 'Weekly Top Song'.

Since then, 'Magnetic', which has risen up the rankings almost every day on Spotify's global chart, has been on the UK's 'Official Single Top 100' for two consecutive weeks, setting unprecedented records for a debut song.
