[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong-geun] The boy group ENHYPEN will appear on the stage of Japan's representative music festival for the second year in a row.
Enhypen (Jeongwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Seonghoon, Sunwoo, and Nikki) will appear at the ‘2024 Rock in Japan Festival’ to be held at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City, Japan on August 10th. This is the first time in 11 years that a Korean artist has appeared at this festival since CNBLUE in 2013.
'Rock in Japan Festival' is one of Japan's four major music festivals celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and will be held for 5 days from August 3 to 12. It is loved so much locally that a total of 265,000 people watched it during last year's performance.
Enhyphen has expanded its musical spectrum by challenging various genres such as rock, Chicago drill, new wave, hybrid hip-hop, and jazz n soul. Member Jay also participated in featuring and writing lyrics for the title song of the 30th anniversary single of famous Japanese rock band GLAY, which will be released on the 29th.
Enhypen appeared at Japan's largest music festival 'SUMMER SONIC 2023' in August last year, drawing an explosive response from local fans. They confirmed their solid local popularity by confirming their attendance at major Japanese music festivals for two consecutive years, including this year's 'Rock in Japan Festival'.
In addition, ENHYPEN will hold a total of 11 concerts in five cities, including Saitama, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Aichi, and Miyagi, Japan from June to September.
