[The Fact | Reporter Gong Mina] Weki Meki group disbanded 7 years after debut.

On the 7th, management company Fantagio announced that Weki Meki will say its final farewell with the new digital single 'CoinciDestiny', which will be released at 6 pm on the 12th.

'CoinciDestiny' is a new song released by Weki Meki after 2 years and 7 months since the 5th mini album 'I AM ME.' released in November 2021. The new song's name 'CoinciDestiny' is a portmanteau of 'Coincide' , meaning 'meeting' and 'Destiny', meaning 'fate'. Even though they met by chance, it implies that the members and fans were destined to become one.

The released teaser image is filled with images of the eight members holding hands running on green grass and enjoying a good time. The words posted with the image "Forever remember the two of us accidentally meeting each other, dreaming of fate and shining brightly" closes the memory and suggests Weki Meki's final greeting.

Weki Meki ,debuted in August 2017, consists of eight members, including Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon, members of the project group I.O.I formed on Mnet's 'Produce 101', Elly, Sei , Ji Soo-yeon, Lua, Rina and Lucy. They performed various songs such as 'I don't like your Girlfriend', 'La La La' and 'OOPSY'.
