Professor Seo Kyung Deok announced on the 13th that he will donate a Korean guidebook to the "Lee Tae Jun Memorial Museum" in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Over the past 13 years, Song Hye Kyo and Professor Seo have donated Korean guidebooks, Korean signs, and sculptures at 35 locations overseas related to the Korean national independence movement.
Master Lee Tae Jun moved to Ulaanbaatar in 1914 and participated in the activities of the Shanghai Temporary Committee, transported independence funds and participated in patriotic activities.
In the center of Ulaanbaatar, there is "Master Lee Tae Jun Memorial Museum". Professor Seo said, "I learned that a new 'Master Lee Tae Jun Memorial Museum' will be built this year" and "After discussion with the Korean Association in Mongolia recently, we agreed to donate 10,000 guidebooks in Korean and Mongolian to the newly built 'Lee Tae Jun Memorial Museum'."
Professor Seo also emphasized that "The situation of Korean national independence movement relics abroad is not good after the COVID-19 pandemic" and "I believe that our continued attention and visits is the best way to promote and preserve these monuments."
Next, Professor Seo said: "We also plan to donate books to many places around the world, not just Mongolia this year."
