[The FactㅣReporter Kim Saet-byeol] Actor Lee Je-hoon's coffee truck event for the movie 'Escape' was canceled. This is the aftermath of a large traffic accident that occurred near City Hall Station.
Plus M Entertainment, the distributor of 'Escape' (directed by Lee Jong-pil), announced on the 2nd, "The coffee tea event scheduled to take place that day was inevitably canceled. We ask for the understanding of those who were planning to attend."
Originally, the production team of 'Escape' planned to hold a relay coffee truck event with lead actor Lee Je-hoon at the plaza in front of the Seoul Newspaper building in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 2nd.
However, on the evening of the 1st, at an intersection near City Hall Station in Seoul, a car suddenly reversed onto the sidewalk where citizens were passing, resulting in a major accident that killed a total of 9 people and injured 4 others.
It is said that the 'Escape' side decided to cancel the event because there was a rainy weather forecast and a fatal accident occurred near the event site, judging that there was a risk of interfering with the accident investigation by police authorities.
'Escape' starring Lee Je-hoon and Koo Kyo-hwan is scheduled to be released on the 3rd.
