[The FactㅣReporter Kim Sae Byul] Kara Park Gyu Ri will temporarily suspend activities during this time due to a broken cheekbone and eye socket.
On July 14, management company Big Boss Entertainment announced that Park Gyu Ri was hospitalized for an accurate examination of her broken nose and broken bones while on a personal schedule. They said she would have to have surgery and it was expected to take 4 to 5 weeks to fully recover.
A ossicle injury is a condition in which the main bone around the eye, called the 'trochlear bone', is fractured. There are a total of 14 stuffed bones and they are more fragile than other areas, easily damaged by impact.
Park Gyu Ri and the management company said, "After careful discussion, we decided to avoid excessive activities and focus on recovery." Therefore, Park Gyu Ri will not be active in July.
The group Kara, of which Park Gyu Ri is a member, plans to release the single 'I Do I Do' on July 24 and is ready for a full comeback. They are also set to hold 'KARASIA' solo concerts in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan next month.
