[The Fact|Reporter Park Ji Yoon] Woozi, a member of SEVENTEEN, personally explained the theory of AI writing and composing lyrics.
On the 14th, Woozi posted on his SNS: "All of Seventeen's music is written and composed by humans." This seems to be a related perspective to a recent BBC report discussing the issue of artificial intelligence songwriting in K-pop.
Recently, BBC said: "Seventeen and other famous artists use AI technology to produce music and write lyrics" and added: "Seventeen's 'MAESTRO' music video features scenes created by AI and this album uses AI technology too."
Previously, Woozi, who attended the press conference celebrating the release of Seventeen's best album '17 IS RIGHT HERE' in April, said, "I tested AI. Instead of complaining about technology, I want to develop together". It is claimed that the BBC misinterpreted this and then quoted it in their reporting.
Seventeen will hold '2024 SVT 8TH FANMEETING 'SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND' at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 23rd and 24th.
