The agency YG Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as YG) posted the video ' 2025 YG PLAN/ YG ANNOUNCEMENT' on its official channel on the 22nd. In the video, CEO Yang Hyun-seok formalizes collaboration with 2NE1, which is celebrating their 15th debut anniversary.
Previously, YG announced that General Manager Yang Hyun-seok and 2NE1 members held an official meeting for the first time in about 8 years at YG's new building in Hapjeong-dong, Seoul. The meeting, which aroused the curiosity of fans around the world, resulted in 'collaboration' and is attracting attention.
The start of the project, which was completed with the decision of Yang Hyun-seok and 2NE1's strong will, is to hold a solo concert. 2NE1 will hold a concert in Seoul in early October with the full support of YG. Following this, additional plans are being made for performances in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan, as well as a global tour in other regions.

Manager Yang Hyun-seok said, "This performance will be very special. The generations who grew up with 2NE1 and listened to their music are sharing memories," and added, "We will work hard with all the staff to create a successful performance."
At the end of the video, a medley of 2NE1's hit songs 'Fire', 'I Don't Care', and 'I'm the Best' was included, heightening expectations.
2NE1, which debuted in 2009, continued to receive much love for its unique concept and disbanded in November 2016. They presented a surprise performance in full at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' held in the United States in April 2022. Then, last May, a photo taken together to commemorate 2NE1's 15th debut anniversary was released and received a lot of attention.
