On the 25th, the agency YG Entertainment said in an official statement, "2NE1 will hold a solo concert to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut, '2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN' at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park for two days from October 5th to 6th. “SEOUL (2024 2NE1 Concert [Welcome Back] in Seoul) will be held”. 

The title of the performance [WELCOME BACK] expresses the spirit of welcoming 2NE1 to be ‘together again’ with fans. This is the first solo concert in about 10 years and 6 months since '[ALL OR NOTHING] in SEOUL' held in March 2014.

Attention is focused on the comeback of 2NE1, who dominated the music industry during their career with excellent live performance and unrivaled stage control. The members have proven their continued skills and popularity at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival', the largest music festival in the United States in 2022.

In addition, collaboration with general producer Yang Hyun-seok is expected to create extraordinary synergy. Previously, Yang Hyun-suk announced his full support for 2NE1's comeback. The 'performance master' know-how accumulated through world tours and the members' unwavering skills combine to open a new page for 2NE1.

YG said, "As this is a monumental year marking the 15th anniversary of our debut and a dramatic reunion with 2NE1, we had a strong will to begin performing with them within this year," and added, "At the World Hall in Kobe, Japan at the end of November and at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo in early December. “The performance has been confirmed, but we actively reflected the members’ opinions that they wanted to open in Korea first”.

"As many people's expectations poured in upon the announcement of the Seoul concert, we expect fierce ticket sales," adding, "We are very disappointed that we cannot be with a larger audience in Korea, but we will repay you with a high-quality performance and come back with better news in the future." “Please look forward to it”.

2NE1 plans to expand its tour schedule to Kobe and Tokyo, Japan, starting with performances in Seoul on October 5th and 6th. As this was a miraculously successful performance, we will visit as many countries as possible by next year for fans around the world.
