Mystic Story management company said on the 30th, “Lucy’s Shin Kwang-il has received a notice of passing the Military Recruitment Service exam and will enlist on September 2nd to fulfill his national defense duties.”

No special events will be held on the day of enlistment. The agency also reminded, "Since this day is an occasion to unite with many soldiers and their families, we ask for the understanding of fans to ensure their safety."

Before his enlistment, Shin Kwang-il will have fan meetings through concerts and other activities with the remaining members of Lucy.

From the day of his enlistment on September 2, all schedules will be carried out as a 3-member group. The agency said, "The vacant position that Shin Kwang-il took on will be replaced by a session position."

Shin Kwang-il has been known for participating in JTBC's 'Superband' in 2019, and from there, he formed the band Lucy, which officially debuted in 2020 in the music industry.
