On the 2nd, JYP Entertainment announced the news of Tzuyu's solo debut on the official SNS. The name of her first solo album is 'abouTZU', a combination of the English words 'about' and 'TZUYU'.

The opening trailer released along with the news of her solo debut shows Tzuyu showing off her beauty and charming visuals. Unrealistic props such as several watches that you can't tell the time, embers spreading in a cup of water, piles of papers scattered on the floor, and swirling waves in a picture frame, depict a dreamlike situation.

Twice, of which Tzuyu is a member, held 'TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE' in JAPAN SPECIAL ('Ready to Be' in Japan Special) as part of their fifth world tour on July 27 and 28 at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan.
