[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Actor Jeong Hae-in has completed preparations to attract viewers in a police uniform.
On August 14, distributor CJ entertainment released photos of Jeong Hae-in as the youngest police officer Park Sun-woo of the Major Crime Investigation Team in the movie “I, the Executioner” (directed by Ryu Seung-wan). The photos show his determination and intelligence in a police uniform, attracting attention.
Previously, Jeong Hae-in impressed viewers by playing Captain Yoo in tvN's “Prison Playbook,” wearing a military uniform in flashback scenes. Next, he appeared as a dedicated police officer in SBS's “While You Were Sleeping,” and reached the top spot in real-time search rankings.
Jeong Hae-in also appeared in a military uniform in Netflix's “D.P.”, playing a member of the draft-dodger arrest team An Jun-ho, and in the drama “12.12: The Day” as First Lieutenant Oh Jin-ho. With his neat appearance in a police uniform, he led the success of his previous works and will continue to attract attention with his role in “I, the Executioner”. He will join the cast of the sequel “I, the Executioner” the successful follow-up to “Veteran” (2015) which attracted 13.41 million viewers, and will show off his acting transformation. “I, the Executioner” is a crime investigation action film about veteran police officer Seo Do-cheol (played by Hwang Jung-min), who continues to pursue a serial killer who shocked the world when young police officer Park Sun-woo joins the Major Crime Investigation Team. The film will premiere on September 13.
