[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong-geun] Boy group JO1 has won the Popularity Award at the '2024 The Fact Music Awards (TMA)' after a fierce competition.

The second round of voting for the 'TMA Popularity Award' and the 'Fan N Star Choice Award' group and solo categories of the '2024 The Fact Music Awards' was held for two weeks from noon on the 5th to noon on the 19th. As a result, JO1 won the 'TMA Popularity Award', while Plave and Lim Young-woong took first place in the 'Fan N Star Choice Award' group and solo categories, respectively.

The 'TMA Popularity Award', which is given to artists attending the '2024 The Fact Music Awards', was nominated by 18 artists including Kim Jae-joong, ITZY, JO1, WOOAH, aespa, NiziU, Kep1er, NewJeans, &TEAM, xikers, KISS OF LIFE, n.SSign, EVNNE, YOUNG POSSE, TWS, NCT WISH, UNIS, and NEXZ. JO1 took first place and they will receive the 'TMA Popularity Award' at the main awards ceremony to be held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on September 7th and 8th. The 'Fan N Star Choice Award' group category went to SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, PLAVE, ZEROBASEONE, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ATEEZ, WayV, RIIZE, TEMPEST, THE NEW SIX, ENHYPEN, SUPER JUNIOR, TWS, A.C.E, BOYNEXTDOOR, ASTRO, TREASURE, and FANTASY BOYS. Among the 20 teams nominated for the second round of voting, PLAVE took first place. Also, as a result of the second round of voting between 20 solo artists including Lim Young-woong, V, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jimin, RM (BTS), Hwang Chi-yeol, Lee Chan-won, Park Chang-geun, Yang Joon-il, Jang Min-ho, Kang Daniel, Ten (NCT), Jeon Yu-jin, Hong Ji-yoon, Baekho, Lee Seung-yoon, Kim Soo-chan, Son Tae-jin, and Hong Ja, Lim Young-woong won first place in the solo category of the 'Fan N Star Choice Award'.

With this, voting for the Fan N Star category corresponding to the '2024 The Fact Music Awards' has ended, and the general Fan N Star voting will begin anew on the 20th.

The '2024 The Fact Music Awards', hosted by The Fact and organized by Fan N Star and FEELINGVIVE, will be held on September 7th and 8th at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan.
