[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Singer and actor Kim Jong Hyun will temporarily leave his fans to fulfill his military service.
His management company Evermore Entertainment officially announced on the 19th, "Kim Jong Hyun will enlist on September 23 as an active duty soldier to fulfill his military service." He will enlist quietly to ensure safety at the scene and will not have any official schedule on that day.
The company also shared, "We thank the fans who have always loved Kim Jong Hyun. Please send warm encouragement and lots of support so that he can complete his military service well and return healthy."
Kim Jong Hyun debuted in 2012 as the leader of NU'EST under the stage name JR, and has received much love with hit songs such as "Hello" and "Face". In 2021, he expanded his activities into acting with a role in the SBS drama "Let Me Be Your Knight".
After 10 years of leading the group, in 2022, he moved to Evermore Entertainment after ending his exclusive contract with his former agency Pledis Entertainment and continued to be active as a singer and actor.
