According to data from the Korean Film Development Agency on the 30th, the film 'Veteran 2' (director Ryu Seung-wan) attracted 413,687 moviegoers from the 27th to the 29th, taking the No. 1 spot at the box office. The total number of moviegoers to date is 6,411,854.
'I, the Executioner' has maintained its No. 1 position for 17 consecutive days since its release on September 13. The film revolves around the investigation of detective Seo Do-cheol (played by Hwang Jung-min) and young detective Park Sun-woo (played by Jung Hae-in) as they hunt down a shocking serial killer. It is a sequel to 'Veteran' (2015), which attracted 13.41 million viewers.
'Transformers ONE' (directed by Josh Cooley) attracted 125,044 viewers and ranked second, with a total of 197,861 viewers.
The film 'Transformers ONE' was released on September 25, and is about two low-level robots, Orion Pax and D-16, working in an underground mine on the planet Cybertron. They go outside the restricted area and receive the ability to transform, participating in a battle that will decide the fate of the planet.
