Park Ji Yoon] RM (BTS), Dahyun (Twice), and Chani (SF9) are K-pop stars shining
at the 29th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). The public is paying
attention to what new charms they will color the screen with that have never
been seen on stage.
RM's documentary has been invited to the
Open Cinema category, and Dahyun's debut film has been invited to the Korean
Cinema Today-Panorama category. Chani, who debuted as a child actor and built a
solid emotional picture, added a deep meaning to his first participation in the
Busan International Film Festival with the work he participated in.

First, the documentary RM: Right People,
Wrong Place (Director Lee Seok Jun) is a work that contains the production
process and candid interviews for about 8 months until RM completed his solo
album vol.2 Right Place, Wrong Person.
In addition, it is also a document that
records the relentless self-discovery between BTS leader and solo artist RM and
the human being Kim Nam Joon. The title means that as soon as the line between
'Right' and 'Wrong' is blurred, the journey to find a place that truly fits
oneself begins.
Open Cinema is an invited category to the
film festival that includes new works that combine both art and popularity and
works that attract international attention. This is the first time a K-pop
documentary has been selected as an official invited work in this section. This
is a section that allows viewers to feel the influence of BTS once again.
Although RM, who is currently serving in the military, cannot meet the audience
directly, it is expected that artists who collaborate with the director will appear
on stage to fill his void.

Da Hyun's debut film, "You are the
apple of my eyes" (Director Cho Young Myeong), is the story of Jin Woo's
(Jin Young) first love, who spends many days confessing to Seon Ah (Da Hyun).
This is a remake of the Taiwanese film of the same name that achieved the
highest revenue in Asia and China.
Da Hyun plays Seon Ah, who is both shy and
strong, and will surely make the audience's hearts flutter when working with
Jin Young, who plays Jin Woo in his 20s and his most playful teenage years. She
said, "It's an honor to greet the screen with such great work. I'm very
excited and will work hard to create great work with the good cooperation of my
seniors."
Above all, the movie "The Girl We
Chased Together" has attracted enthusiastic attention from both domestic
and international since the production stage when it successfully pre-sold with
just the news of Da Hyun and Jin Young's casting. While the work was first
revealed at the 29th Busan International Film Festival, the public is focusing
their attention on the youthful face of Da Hyun - who has challenged acting
after 9 years since her debut as a member of Twice in 2015.
