[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong-geun] Girl group Kepler (Kep1er), reborn as a 7-member group, will return with a new charm on November 1st.
On the 7th, the agency Kleb Entertainment announced, "Kepler (Choi Yu-jin, Xiaoting, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Da-yeon, Hikaru, Hueningbahi, Seo Young-eun) will release a new album on November 1st." This is their first comeback in 5 months since their first full-length album, 'Kep1going On', released in June.
After the release of their first full-length album, Kepler was reorganized into a 7-member group with Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro leaving. Since then, they have joined Kleb Entertainment, a comprehensive management company, along with their existing agency Wake One. This new album is the official first step toward introducing the 7-member Kepler.
Last month, Kepler first revealed their new song 'sync-love' at 'KCON GERMANY 2024' held in Frankfurt, Germany, and foreshadowed a new charm.
'sync-love' is a hyper-pop-based dance song with catchy and sensual rap and mysterious melody. It conveys a message to a loved one who is bound somewhere to overcome fear and find freedom with a futuristic and cybernetic feel. It maximizes Kepler's strong point, powerful performance.
Kepler is a group that was born through Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999: Girls' War' broadcast in 2021. As soon as they debuted in January 2022, they took first place on terrestrial music shows with 'WA DA DA' and received explosive love in Korea and abroad, especially in Japan.
Kepler ended their scheduled 2 years and 6 months of activities in July. After that, the 7 members except for Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro decided to continue their activities as Kepler. Expectations are high for the future activities of the 7-member Kepler, who are starting anew based on the skills and growth they have accumulated through various activities.
