[The FactㅣReporter Jeong Chae Young] Singer Jessi revealed that a fan was attacked by a stranger after asking to take a photo with her.
On the 12th, Jessi shared on social media, "Recently, while meeting with friends, a fan asked to take a photo with me, but because it was late at night, I politely refused twice. At that time, a stranger I met for the first time suddenly attacked the fan."
She continued, "Because the situation happened so suddenly, I was very confused and couldn't take good care of the fan."
The incident was revealed on JTBC's "Crime Chief" the day before. According to the program, in the early morning of the 29th of last month, a man attacked another person near Jessi in the Apgujeong area of Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Surveillance cameras recorded the victim asking to take a photo with Jessi but was refused, and as she was leaving, another man punched and kicked the victim in the face. During this process, Jessi quickly left the scene.
On the program, the victim shared, "Because I am a fan of Jessi, I went to ask to take a photo, but when she refused and said sorry, I also said sorry and was about to leave. However, another man came up and punched me in the face."
Jessi confirmed that the perpetrator of the attack was a stranger she had never met before. She also said she had contacted the management company to support the victim and was working to have the perpetrator punished.
