[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] BTS' V will showcase a timeless collaboration with Bing Crosby.
On December 7, the agency Big Hit Music announced, "V and Bing Crosby's duet song 'White Christmas (with V of BTS)' will be released simultaneously worldwide on December 6 at 2 PM." This is all the more special because it is Bing Crosby's first duet song in 47 years since his collaboration with David Bowie in 1977.
V, who has shown his respect for Bing Crosby, reinterpreted and sang part of the famous song 'White Christmas', which was released in 1942 and is still loved worldwide to this day, with his own feelings.
Bing Crosby, who was active as a singer and actor, is the greatest star of the 20th century and is inducted into the Hollywood Hall of Fame. 'White Christmas' has been covered by many top singers including Michael Buble and Taylor Swift, but there has never been a duet song with Bing Crosby, so this work is very meaningful. V and Bing Crosby will share warmth and joy with the world by singing together. V showed off his skills as a solo musician through his first solo album 'Layover' released in September of last year and the digital single 'FRI(END)S' released in March. His attractive low-mid range and soulful voice captivated the ears of many.
