[The Fact | Reporter Jeong Byeong Geun] Girl group TWICE will participate in Japan's famous year-end special, "Kohaku Uta Gassen".
TWICE was announced as one of the artists participating in the 75th "Kohaku Uta Gassen", a program broadcast by NHK, through NHK's official SNS channel on October 19. "Kohaku Uta Gassen" is a special year-end program in Japan that gathers prominent artists, the program has received much love throughout the year, and this year it will be broadcast on the night of December 31.
TWICE has participated in "Kohaku Uta Gassen" a total of four times as a full group, in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022. In addition, the sub-unit MISAMO (consisting of Mina, Sana, and Momo) also participated in the program in 2023. TWICE first participated in the program in 2017, along with their official debut in Japan, and this year will be the group's 5th time participating in "Kohaku Uta Gassen".
In addition to TWICE, LE SSERAFIM (joining from 2022) will be participating in the program for the third consecutive time, while TXT and ILLIT will be standing on the "Kohaku Uta Gassen" stage for the first time this year.
