PSY's management company, P Nation, released a statement on the 26th, explaining that "PSY did not make any changes to the purpose of use or additional construction to the building, and he only realized that illegal construction occurred during the initial construction process." P Nation also said, "The delay in payment was due to a delay in receiving the notice, but PSY has now paid the fine in full."
The reason for this explanation is to clarify the information about PSY being fined for not fulfilling the request to fix illegal construction violations, which led to his villa in the Hannam-dong area, Yongsan District, Seoul being forcibly seized and confiscated due to not paying the fine for a year.
According to P Nation, PSY and other owners of the villa together invited a construction company to repair and fix the illegal construction there.
