[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Group Ive will be making a comeback in January next year.
On the 1st, their agency Starship Entertainment stated, "Ive who are celebrating their 3rd debut anniversary today, are preparing a new album with the goal of making a comeback in January next year," and "Please give Ive lots of support as he takes another leap forward with a more mature appearance through his world tour this year."
Ive plans to release a new album 9 months after releasing his second EP album 'IVE SWITCH' in April. The members, who met fans around the world while performing on a wider stage including the 2024 world tour, are expected to show a more distinct identity and diverse performances through this new album.
Leader Ahn Yu-jin looked back on the year through her agency, saying, "I was so happy thanks to DIVE (fandom name) who welcomed us while going on a world tour that was like a dream, and it was a good time to have a closer time with the members."
He also said, "I hope that everyone who has been waiting for the comeback in the second half of this year and everyone who likes Ive will look forward to the 2025 comeback, as we are working hard together with the members, Vice President Seo, and many staff members to prepare for a comeback next year, even if it takes some time."
Finally, Ahn Yu-jin added, "Today is the 3rd anniversary of our debut, and Ive received so much love thanks to DIVE, so I was so happy, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the year watching Ive's stage, and prepare to start 2025 with Ive."
Starting in October of last year, Ive had a special time with fans around the world through 37 performances in 28 cities in 19 countries on a world tour. In addition, the members, who proved their outstanding skills and unrivaled presence by standing on large global stages such as 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in the U.S. and 'SUMMER SONIC 2024' in Japan last August, are focusing attention on what new charm they will show through their new album.
