On December 12, Ham Eun-jung shared a long post on her personal SNS saying, "A few years ago, I decided that my birthday was also the day I sent my thanks to my mother, not just me receiving wishes." Along with that, she also posted photos taken with her mother that touched fans.
She recalled, "Isn't my birthday a wonderful day for my mother? Why can't my mother's hard work be commemorated? Since I have spent so much time working, it would be a blessing to spend my birthday sharing my mother's hardships and expressing my love for my family.”
Ham Eun-jung shared, “Maybe because this is my first birthday since my mother suddenly left me, I miss her even more. That is what she always wanted for me.”

Finally, Ham Eun-jung expressed, "Although my mother and I have different personalities, when we are together, we are always happy and close like soul mates. My mother is my soul mate."
