"Deepest condolences and comfort to those who are grieving"

On the 2nd, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association stated, "J-Hope donated 100 million won to help victims of the Jeju Air plane crash," and "We are grateful for J-Hope's heart for the victims' families. We will do our best to ensure that the warm donation he sent is fully delivered to the bereaved families."
J-Hope said, "After hearing the news of the accident, I decided to donate in hopes of providing some help to the bereaved families," and added, "I express my deepest condolences and comfort to the bereaved families as well as everyone who is grieving over this accident."
J-Hope has been consistently donating to spread good influence. Starting with a 150 million won donation for children in need and children with disabilities in 2018, he donated 100 million won to children in crisis families who are struggling due to COVID-19, and donated 150 million won for his birthday. J-Hope, a member of the 'Hope Bridge Honors Club', a group of high-value donors, also participated in the 2023 flood relief fund donation and continued his good deeds.
Earlier, on December 29th last year at around 9:03 AM, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, which departed from Bangkok, Thailand and was scheduled to arrive at Muan International Airport, crashed into the airport's outer wall due to a landing gear malfunction while landing on the runway.
As a result of this accident, 179 of the 181 passengers on board died, excluding the two crew members in the rear. Accordingly, the government designated a period of national mourning from the 29th of last month to the 4th of this month.
J-Hope completed his military service on October 17th of last year and is actively communicating with fans through his activities.
