At 0:00 on February 14, management company Pledis Entertainment uploaded the video for the song "동그라미" (Circle) on SEVENTEEN's official YouTube channel (including members S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino). This is a surprise gift that the members prepared to celebrate Carat's (the group's fandom name) 9th birthday.
SEVENTEEN sent their sincere thanks and love to Carat - who have always been with them for a long time - through the song "동그라미". The lyrics written by the members themselves such as "Close your eyes and immediately think of our little stories", "I don't know how much we laugh every day with you" combined with their warm voices create a deep emotion.
The song's video is a collage of SEVENTEEN's performances on stage, recreating unforgettable moments between the group and Carat during their world tours. In particular, at the end of the video, the message "Carat, happy birthday!" from the members further increases the emotion.
SEVENTEEN has long celebrated February 14 – the day the name Carat was born – in many special ways. Last year, the group delighted fans by lighting up Namsan Tower in Seoul with their two official colors – Rose Quartz and Serenity – and releasing a remix version of their hit “손오공” (Super).
SEVENTEEN is now just one day away from their grand show in Bangkok, marking the final leg of their four-month world tour. The group will hold two concerts on February 15 and 16 at Rajamangala National Stadium, concluding the tour with thousands of fans eagerly awaiting them.
