[The Fact | Reporter Myung Joo] BLACKPINK's Jisoo returns solo after 2 years, bringing a deeper feeling.
BLISOO's management company announced on February 14 that, "Jisoo will release her solo mini album 'AMORTAGE' at 2 p.m. (KST) on all domestic and international digital music platforms."
'AMORTAGE' is Jisoo's new music product after more than 2 years since her debut solo album 'ME' in 2023. The album's name is a combination of "AMOR" (love in Spanish) and "MONTAGE" (a technique of combining multiple movie scenes to convey meaning), fully expressing the nuances of love.
The album consists of 4 songs: the title track 'earthquake', along with the b-side tracks 'Your Love', 'TEARS' and 'Hugs & Kisses'.
'earthquake' conveys the strong emotions of starting a love affair. 'Your Love' expresses the happiness when love deepens. 'TEARS' depicts the sadness after a breakup, trying to act strong, while 'Hugs & Kisses' expresses the feeling of liberation and finding oneself after ending a relationship.
Jisoo officially released 'AMORTAGE' at 2pm on the same day, opening a series of comeback activities. She will release the MV and hold a special fan meeting 'SOO IN LOVE' at CGV Cheongdam CineCity at 6pm and 8pm.
On February 16, Jisoo will perform the debut stage for the new song on SBS 'Inkigayo'. After that, she will hold a fan meeting tour 'LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!' in 7 Asian cities including Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong and Hanoi. In addition, Jisoo will also appear on the show 'Newtopia', which airs every Friday at 8pm on Coupang Play, connecting with a global audience.
