On February 19, Pledis Entertainment announced, “Hoshi × Woozi will release their debut single album ‘BEAM’ on March 10.” At the same time, the concept teaser video was also released on the Weverse platform and SEVENTEEN’s official SNS channels.
This is the first time in 8 years that the two members have reunited in a unit, since performing the song ‘Shoot Me Before You Go’ together in SEVENTEEN’s second full album ‘TEEN, AGE’ (released in November 2017). Hoshi – the leader of the Performance Team and Woozi – the leader of the Vocal Team were both born in 1996, are friends of the same age, promising to bring a perfect combination with the top “best friend chemistry”.
The teaser video makes a strong impression with the image of the Hoshi × Woozi logo and the album title ‘BEAM’, along with the black and white visual effect alternating between light and dark, creating an emotional atmosphere. At the end of the video, the album release date is announced, making fans even more excited.
