[The Fact | Reporter Byung Geun] SEVENTEEN’s special duo Hoshi x Woozi have raised expectations for their new album with their surprisingly contrasting charms.
On the afternoon of February 25, Hoshi and Woozi uploaded the first 11 official photos of the single ‘BEAM’ version ‘+ (plus)’ on SEVENTEEN’s official social media. The photos show the contrast between the gentle light of the electronic board and the strong charisma of Hoshi and Woozi.
Hoshi is no longer the cheerful “happy maker” as in recent activities in the BSS unit, but instead has a powerful image. Woozi also left the role of producer to become the central factor, revealing a completely different look.
The change in style of Hoshi and Woozi has made the audience even more curious about the new product. Hoshi brings a liberal feeling with short bangs combined with long braided hair. Meanwhile, Woozi impresses with his wavy curly hair and thick smoky makeup, highlighting his bold charm.
Management company Pledis said: “The album name ‘BEAM’ symbolizes the light emitted by Hoshi and Woozi. The album shows the two's unique identities, while conveying their confidence and personality through colorful rays of light.”
Hoshi x Woozi will officially release ‘BEAM’ on March 10. Before that, on the 26th, the official photo version of ‘x (doubled)’ will be released, followed by the track list, trailer, and MV teaser.
