[The Fact | Reporter Kim Saet-byeol] K-pop’s Top Idols Are Singing for the OST of the New Drama “Resident Playbook” (original title: ‘언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활’).
On April 8, the production team of tvN’s new weekend drama announced the lineup of artists participating in the soundtrack, aiming to increase the appeal of the work. The prominent names such as Stray Kids (Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N), Ahn Yujin (IVE), D.O. (EXO), Winter (aespa), TXT, Dokyeom (SEVENTEEN), and Minnie ((G)I-DLE) have made fans excited.
"Resident Playbook" is a spin-off of the popular drama "Hospital Playlist", telling the story of the growth of interns at the obstetrics department of Yulje Hospital - Jongno headquarters. The main cast includes Go Youn-jung, Shin Si-ah, Kang Yoo-seok, Han Ye-ji, and Jung Joon-won.
Since the content focuses on young people starting their working lives, the production team shared: "We chose all young idols to perform the OST to match the story of youth just starting. Their music will convey diverse emotions and help viewers become more immersed."
The newly released poster reveals the artists participating in the OST, besides there is still a mysterious character that has not been revealed - the last piece of the huge lineup, making the audience even more curious.
With the resonance of the top idols, "Resident Playbook" promises to bring many emotions when it officially airs at 9:10 p.m. on April 12 (Korean time).
