[The Fact | Reporter Jung Byung-geun] Kai (EXO) will bring a series of multi-colored songs in the new mini album released on April 21 called ‘Wait On Me’.
On April 17, management company SM Entertainment said, “Kai (EXO)’s fourth mini album ‘Wait On Me’ includes various musical styles to show his more diverse image. Including the title track of the same name with an Afrobeat rhythm, a total of 7 songs will be released.”
The song ‘Ridin’’ in this album is a pop song built on a vibrant and powerful techno·hip-hop drum base. The song expresses the will to overcome the limits, awaken the true self and do not hesitate to rush towards the goal.
In addition, ‘Flight to Paris’ is an addictive pop song with dreamy synth sounds combined with the typical beat of jersey club. The song tells the story of a journey to escape from familiar life, as if boarding a plane to discover yourself in strange things.
Besides, there are also colorful songs such as: ‘Walls Don’t Talk’ with reggaeton style; ‘Pressure’ stands out with Latin rhythm; ‘Off and Away’ with amapiano background music, and ‘Adult Swim’ - a light, cool up-beat pop that was pre-released on the 3rd.
Before his official comeback on April 21, Kai is currently participating in many contents such as the web show he is the MC for, ‘전과자: 매일 전과하는 남자’ (Title: Changing Majors), the program ‘Salon Drip’, ‘Cellphone KODE’ and many other activities.
