[The Fact | Reporter Kim Saet-byeol] Singer Rosé's global mega hit 'APT.' has set another record.
On the 23rd, her agency The Black Label announced that Rosé and Bruno Mars' duet 'APT.' maintained its previous ranking of 13th on Billboard's main single chart 'HOT 100' as of the 21st (local time).
This is a record of 26 consecutive weeks on the Billboard chart, and Rosé has once again broken the record for the longest charting period for a female K-pop artist.
'APT.' was a pre-released single included in Rosé's first full-length album 'rosie' released on December 6th last year, and it created a syndrome by creating an explosive response as soon as it was released. 'APT.', which became even more of a topic of conversation as a duet between two global artists, Rosé and Bruno Mars, simultaneously swept the top ranks of domestic and international charts, achieving a remarkable achievement of unifying the global music market.
'APT.', which swept the world immediately after its release, even drew a reverse graph by bouncing back from the Billboard chart where the carol craze had swept.
Rosé, who achieved unprecedented box office success, also proved her syndrome-level popularity by being named on the '100 Most Influential People in the World 2025' selected by the American current affairs weekly Time.
Rosé's first full-length album 'rosie', which includes 'APT.', also caused a stir as soon as it was released. 'rosie' became a hot topic because Rosé participated in writing and composing all the songs, and it entered Billboard's main album chart 'Billboard 200' at number 3, breaking another record for a K-pop female artist. Rosé plans to continue active music activities in 2025.
