[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Group EPEX will hold a solo concert in China for the first time since their debut.
The agency C9 Entertainment announced on the 29th, "Apex (Wish, Geum Dong-hyun, Mu, Amin, Baek Seung, Aiden, Ye Wang, Jeff) will hold their 2025 solo concert '青春匮乏 in 福州 (Youth Deficiency in Fuzhou)' at MAAQUU X CH8 livehouse in Fuzhou, China on May 31st."
This is Apex's first local performance in China and the first solo concert in China in 9 years since the THAAD ban in 2016 for a K-pop idol group with all members of Korean nationality, so it is drawing attention. Previously, idols of other nationalities or hip-hop group HOMIES have performed in China, and Apex will be the first idol group with all members of Korean nationality to cross the continent.
In the meantime, Apex has made extraordinary efforts to communicate with Chinese fans in various ways. They did photoshoots and interviews with Chinese magazines, and held fan signing events in Shanghai and Qingdao, China in January. Thanks to this, they were able to hold a solo concert in China.
