[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Actress Ra Mi-ran is responsible for the laughter of the audience with 'High Five'.
Distributor NEW released still cuts of Ra Mi-ran from the movie 'High Five' (Director Kang Hyung-chul) on the 7th. The photo shows Ra Mi-ran as a fairy, a press manager who received a kidney transplant, making people curious about the mysterious superpower she will show off.
The work is a comic action film that depicts the story of five people who accidentally gain different superpowers through organ transplants and meet those who covet their powers. It is the new work of director Kang Hyung-chul, who has shown his unique directing style through movies such as 'Speed Scandal', 'Sunny', and 'Swing Kids'.
Seon-nyeo, a sincere fresh manager who appears anywhere at any time on a Yakult cart, lives with kindness to those around her with a healthy body and mind after receiving a kidney transplant. She does not realize that she has superpowers, but when she meets Wanseo (played by Lee Jae-in) and Ji-seong (played by Ahn Jae-hong), she naturally asks, "Do I have a superpower that makes me pretty?" and makes people laugh.
After the formation of 'High Five', Seon-nyeo plays the role of encouraging the members with her unique friendliness. While the specific nature of Seon-nyeo's special power is not revealed, Ra Mi-ran revealed the reason for choosing the work, saying, "I liked Seon-nyeo's superpower. I think she has the strongest power among the 'High Five' members," stimulating curiosity.
Ra Mi-ran, who left a deep impression in tvN's 'Reply 1988', which ended in 2016, as the so-called Ssangmun-dong Cheetah Lady, has shown a wide spectrum of acting by digesting various genres through the drama 'Bad Mom', the movie 'Girl Cops', and the 'Honest Candidate' series. She has been showing off her unique charm through powerful ad-libs and life acting, so attention is focused on what kind of acting transformation she will show in this work.
Lee Jae-in also said, "She gives energy to those around her to the point that it feels like she really has superpowers. I also learned a lot of know-how about life acting while working with her," expressing her anticipation for her performance.
'High Five' will be released on June 3.
