Remake Album ‘A Flower Bookmark 3’ Released on May 27

On May 15, management company EDAM Entertainment announced, “IU will release her third remake album ‘A Flower Bookmark 3’ at 6 p.m. on May 27 (KST).” ‘A Flower Bookmark 3’ is the next part of the ‘A Flower Bookmark’ remake project series, where IU recreates timeless songs with her unique emotions and lyrical voice.

IU was warmly received with ‘A Flower Bookmark’ (2014) and ‘A Flower Bookmark 2’ (2017). This comeback marks the return of this beloved album series after nearly 8 years. This is also the first new album after about 1 year and 3 months since the 6th mini album ‘The Winning’ was released in February last year.

The newly released album cover has an old film style, evoking a warm and analog feeling. In the photo, IU leans on an old public phone, her eyes looking at the lens, the natural vintage scene recalls old memories.

Through the ‘A Flower Bookmark’ series, IU has performed many remakes such as ‘Autumn morning’, ‘The Meaning Of You’, ‘Sleepless rainy night’… and has been highly appreciated for her ability to recreate the original beauty while breathing her personal soul into each song. The public is eagerly waiting to see what new colors IU will bring to the old love songs in ‘A Flower Bookmark 3’ this time.
