[The Fact | Reporter Park Ji-yoon] Group Boynextdoor has achieved a career high with their new album.
According to the Hanteo Chart on the 18th, Boynextdoor's (Sungho, Liu, Myungjaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, Unhak) 4th mini album 'No Genre' recorded 1,074,316 cumulative sales (including 3 types of regular albums) the previous day, becoming a million seller in just 5 days after its release.
This is an achievement that has already surpassed the sales volume (759,156 copies) of the previous 3rd mini album '19.99'. Also, considering that Boynextdoor's debut single sold approximately 110,000 copies in the first week (one week after release) and their 1st and 2nd mini albums sold approximately 450,000 and 530,000 copies in the same period, we can sense their rapid growth rate.
The members previously became million sellers with '19.99'. At the time, it took almost a month and a half for the album to sell 1 million copies, but with this new album, they showed remarkable growth by becoming a million seller again in just five days after its release.
'No Genre', released on the 13th, contains Boynextdoor's ambition to do the music they want to do. The title song 'I Feel Good' is a song where you can see the members' free-spirited and confident attitudes, and it is characterized by the combination of intuitive lyrics with a raw feeling, solid guitar riffs, and heavy bass.
'I Feel Good' settled in the upper ranks of Melon's 'Top 100' the day after its release. In addition, 'No Genre' took first place for two consecutive days (14th and 15th) on the Japanese Oricon 'Daily Album Ranking' and the title song and other tracks were included in the 'Rapid Rising Chart' (14th) of China's largest music streaming platform QQ Music, proving the hot global response.
Boynextdoor, who showed such a steep growth curve, plans to continue active comeback activities by appearing on MBC's entertainment program 'Good to Rest', SBS PowerFM's 'Two O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show', and 'Park So-hyun's Love Game'.
