Second Mini Album 'Echo' Surpasses Previous Album 'Happy', Which Hit No. 4

[The Fact | Reporter Jung Byung Geun] BTS member Jin has set a new career record with his new album on the US Billboard chart.
According to the chart prediction article posted on Billboard's official homepage (Korean time) on May 26, the second mini album 'Echo', released on May 16, reached No. 3 on the main Billboard 200 chart (issued on May 31). This is Jin’s highest achievement to date, surpassing his previous album Happy (released in November 2024), which was ranked at No. 4.
‘Echo’ also entered the UK Official Albums Chart Top 100 (week of May 23–29) at No. 63. This is the first time a solo product of Jin has appeared on both the world’s largest album charts – Billboard in the US and the UK Official Chart.
The title track ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ is also very popular. This song reached No. 2 on the Daily Top Songs Global chart (May 24) of the world’s largest online music listening platform – Spotify. In the UK, the song entered the Official Singles Chart Top 100 at No. 58 and reached No. 1 on all three sub-charts: Singles Downloads, Singles Sales, and Physical Singles.
The album ‘Echo’ is a picture depicting various moments in life, like “echoes” spreading in many different forms. Jin expressed the stories and emotions that everyone has experienced in their own way, thereby touching the hearts of fans.
The album consists of 7 songs, spanning many genres such as pop-punk, country rock, Brit rock, J-rock, alternative rock and ballad pop, mainly based on the sound of the band. Jin showed his delicate sensibility and voice that fits the emotions of each song, which is considered to have expanded his musical world.
Jin will hold his first solo fan concert called #RUNSEOKJIN_EP TOUR on June 28 and 29 at the Goyang General Stadium's auxiliary yard in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City. He will then meet global fans through 18 performances in 9 cities including Chiba and Osaka (Japan), Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark (USA), London (UK), and Amsterdam (Netherlands).
