[The Fact | Reporter Jung Byung Geun] Singer Nam Gyu Ri will recreate a typical ballad from the 1980s in her own style.
On May 23, music production company Bionhu - the unit that is implementing the album project 'Kỳ Ưu - The Memory' said: "The first song in the project, "가슴앓이" (Heartache) performed by Nam Gyu Ri, will be released at 6 p.m. on May 25." Along with the music, the MV for the song will also be released.
"가슴앓이" (Heartache), a soulful ballad released by the mixed duo Hanmaeum in 1987, has received much love from the audience. Nam Gyu Ri performed this song again with a gentle, lyrical voice. Famous producer Park Geun Tae took on the overall production role, bringing a completely new emotional color that suits modern feelings.
Nam Gyu Ri will also appear in the MV, showing her emotional acting ability, affirming the image of a true actress.
Nam Gyu Ri debuted in 2006 with the group SeeYa and received much love through a series of songs. She started her acting career in 2008 with the movie 'Death Bell', and has been active in both singing and acting since then. Last year, she released the solo singles 'HALO' and 'I'm in love with you'.
Bionhu plans to continue releasing new songs for over a year, starting with Nam Gyu Ri's "가슴앓이" (Heartache).
