According to the latest chart (June 21st) released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 17th (local time), SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino)'s 5th full-length album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' ranked 47th on the main album chart, 'Billboard 200'. 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' entered last week at 2nd place, tying its own highest ranking record.
'HAPPY BURSTDAY' maintained higher rankings on the sub-charts. It ranked 2nd on 'World Albums', 5th on 'Top Current Album Sales', and 6th on 'Top Album Sales'.
The title song 'THUNDER' ranked 31st and 78th on 'Global (excluding the US)' and 'Global 200', respectively, maintaining its ranking for 3 consecutive weeks. SEVENTEEN ranked 36th on 'Artist 100' based on their popularity in music and albums.
SEVENTEEN is achieving success with their 5th full-length album and title song released last month. 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' proved SEVENTEEN's album power by recording the highest initial sales (album sales for a week after release) among K-pop albums released this year. SEVENTEEN also stood out on domestic and international music charts with 'THUNDER' and achieved 7 crowns on music shows.
