[The Fact | Reporter Lee Na-rae] Girl group Oh My Girl topped the female idol rankings on the weekly idol ranking site Fan N Star.
Oh My Girl won first place in the "Female Idol" poll for the third week of June on Fan N Star, which took place from June 16 to 23, with a total of 14,950 votes. Fifty Fifty came in second with 12,950 votes, and STAYC came in third with 11,800 votes.
Fan N Star has special rewards for artists: if the artist tops the rankings for five consecutive weeks, a congratulatory video will be shown on the electronic board at the Eugene Building in Yeouido, Seoul. If they maintain the No. 1 position for 10 consecutive weeks, the information will be promoted by a sticker on the outside of the 273 bus. However, to receive the reward, the accumulated votes must exceed the threshold. When they reach 5 million or 7 million votes, they will receive a congratulatory reward.
Immediately after Oh My Girl was announced to be at the top of the chart, fans sent their congratulations through the official Fan N Star mailbox. A user with the nickname “Sowon” wrote: “I will always love Oh My Girl alone.”
Meanwhile, Fan N Star is a weekly idol ranking website operated by <The Fact>, which holds polls and supports idols with public promotional screens, and is considered a favorite “playground” for fandoms. Voting categories such as groups, individuals, new stars, and weekly music are open every Monday, and anyone who loves idols can participate.
