[The Fact | Reporter Myung-joo Kim] Group TWICE is returning with a new song along with a confident appearance full of energy.
TWICE (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu) will release their 4th regular album 'THIS IS FOR' and title song of the same name on the 11th. Accordingly, JYP Entertainment raised expectations for the comeback by releasing the music video teaser for the title song 'THIS IS FOR' at midnight on the 9th.
In the released video, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu are standing among people who are nodding off. Jihyo appears at that moment, singing a cheerful new song and livening up the atmosphere. Here, all nine members look straight at the camera in unison with the lyrics, "turn it up." TWICE's confident poses as they stare straight at the camera arouse interest.
TWICE will make a comeback about 7 months after their 14th mini-album "STRATEGY" was released in December of last year. It has been a full 3 years and 8 months since their 3rd full-length album "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" was released in November 2021.
This new album contains a total of 14 songs, including the title song "THIS IS FOR," "FOUR," "OPTIONS," "MARS," "RIGHT HAND GIRL," "PEACH GELATO," and "HI HELLO." In particular, 'THIS IS FOR' is a song about confidence and pride, and is full of energy that suits the hot summer.
Following the release of their new full-length album, TWICE will kick off their sixth world tour 'THIS IS FOR' at Incheon Inspire Arena on the 19th and 20th. The tour will begin in Incheon and then travel to Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Macau, Bulacan, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. All of the concert halls have 360-degree seats, allowing for a more three-dimensional viewing experience.
In addition, TWICE is scheduled to headline the large-scale music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' held in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, USA on August 2nd (local time), raising expectations.
