BTS will release the live album 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LIVE' at 1 PM on the 18th. This is their first live concert album since their debut.
This album contains live footage of the tour of the same name that was held online and offline in three cities: Seoul, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas from 2021 to 2022. A total of 22 songs including BTS' mega hits such as 'Dynamite', 'Butter', and 'Permission to Dance', as well as 'Blood, Sweat, and Tears', 'Life Goes On', and 'Spring Day', which received much love, are included.
What's special is that you can hear the songs that were rearranged for the concert in a live version. The agency explained, "'Fire' and 'IDOL' were reconstructed with a more intense sound, and 'Dynamite' and 'Butter' were more cheerful and exciting with the addition of a brass session. In addition, most of the songs were rearranged to fit the live band arrangement, conveying a rich and dynamic feeling."
BTS' tour 'BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE' attracted 4 million viewers from around the world through various methods such as live performances, online live streaming, live viewing, and live play. This album contains the excitement and emotion of the tour with millions of audiences, as well as the voices that filled the venue.
In addition to the release of the album, the last 3rd live performance of 'PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - SEOUL' held at Jamsil Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul in 2022 will be released as a 141-minute digital code. An interview photo book containing the members' brilliant moments on stage and behind-the-scenes footage will be provided.
BTS officially announced a comeback in the spring of 2026. On the 1st, they announced through a Weverse live broadcast that all members will sequentially go to the United States starting in July to begin full-scale music work and performance preparation. They plan to release a new album in 2026 and hold a large-scale world tour, making a complete return as a '21st century pop icon'.
